Halloween 2016
Deň plný masiek, kostýmov a strašidiel. V Amerike takto chodia deti z jedného domu do druhého, kde dostávajú odmeny v podobe sladkostí či peňazí.

Full day of masks, costumes and ghosts. In America children go from one house to another where they get some sweets or money. They take this day really seriously. People decorate their houses and transform them on really scary places.
Slovakia is more a hristian state, so this holiday is less known here. Nothing from this does not take place here. I celebrate Halloween but in the different way. When I was attending a primary school we had an event called Halloween every year. Although we did not walk from house to house or collect candies, we were just walking around the town. The oldest children from our school were always preparing a program included many tasks and activities. All of us wore the masks and the costumes. It was a really good time for us.
I was baking lot of cakes with typical autumn ingredients (for example with pumpkins) this year. Me and my friend were thinking that we should do some Halloween photoshoot. If you did not recognise my costume I should be a porcelain doll. This amazing make up was underlined by my (usually) sweet dress from Stradivarius, a huge scarf from F&F (that looks like a blanket), cute shoes from Primark and my knee-socks, what emphasised my look. I could not forget about my hair what are totally typical for these dolls. As accessories I had my teddy bear and the old photo. I must admit that I was really afraid of myself. There are many scarier masks than mine. But try to imagine that you will meet something like that at night on a street.
Every day is Halloween, is not it? For some of us.
A čo vy, oslavujete Halloween?
